The Atlantic Wall in: The Atlantic Wall in Denmark consisted of 100 meter high land and concrete fortifications built along the Danish-German border during World War II. The goal for the project was to stop the Allies from reaching the German mainland. Every year, the public can visit the Atlantic Wall in Denmark to see the precursors of this history at different places along its 2,850 kilometer long dike network.
