In WWII: In WWII, the Channel Islands became a satellite of Nazi Germany. The inhabitants, who were British citizens, were all mostly evacuated. The location of their evacuation is unknown. One of their most important protectors was a German military garrison, which was founded in 1887 by two military engineers of the Kaiser Wilhelm II.
